Anthony rolled over in bed, hearing his alarm on his cellphone yell at him to get up so he dragged himself out of bed and sleepily he changed from his pajamas to his school uniform and looked frantically for his books. When he finally found them he grabbed a health bar and jogged out the door, eating it on the way to class.
He had finished the little thing in a few bites and grumbled, jumping up the stairs that seemed endless, Why the third floor? I mean really... And the classes were so early. He wasn't a morning person but oh well.
As he tried to make a run for it towards class he bumped into someone, or something. He fell backward and rubbing his head he hissed irritatedly, "Jeez. Watch where your going!" His head hurt and he was gonna be late. Great.

"Shit," Syndey said as she looked at the small alarm clock next to her bed. Once again she had overslept. She had figured that living in a dorm with another person who got up the same time in the morning would cause her to wake up on time, she figured wrong. Jumping out of bed she realized that Hannah was already up and gone. Thankfully she lived on campus and would most likely not be late for class, if she hurried.
She quickly threw on her uniform and pulled her curly blonde hair into a side bun. She quickly grabbed her bookbag and shoved her cell phone into her pocket before making her way out the door of her dorm.
By the time she made it to school, she only had two minutes to get to the third floor for her first hour english class. She tried not to look too frantic as she swiftly walked up the long staircases that seemed to go on forever. It was then that Sydney made a horrible choice.
She heard her phone start to go off, and she realized she had to put it on silent or texting in class was not going to work the way she wanted. She swung her bag around her shoulder and finally pulled out her cell phone. In an attempt to turn it off she had not realized someone was coming towards her, that was, not until they had collided and she found herself on the floor of the third floor.
"Oh gosh, I am so sorry," she said looking up to see who she had bumped into. She was quite surprised to look up and find an incredibly gorgeous guy looked extremely irritated at her. "I probably should have been paying more attention," she said scrambling to grab her cell phone which had flung out of her hand when she had been knocked over. Her voice was shaky considering she hated being around cute guys, it seemed to make her shy and quiet, and she hated it.

Anthony let his brown eyes glance up at who he had ran into, some.. gorgeous blonde who looked really really sorry for bumping into him, he shook his head and stood, walking to her and giving her his hand to help her up, "Nah. It's fine. It happens. I'm Anthony. You are?" He gave her his usual smile but he added more charm with it, well, since, heh she was cute and all. He noted her shaky voice and found it somewhat... adorable how she was shy around guys.

Sydney smiled as the guy standing above her introuduced himself. "Well hello than Anthony," she said taking his hand and letting him help her up. His anger seemed to have disappeared when he got up off the ground, and that she was thankful for.
"I'm Sydney," she said while brushing down her skirt when she finally was standing up straight. Luckily she had mamnaged to grab her phone, so she placed it carefully back into the side pocket of her bag before turning back to Anthony.
"Well I really am sorry, believe it or not, that's not the first time that has happened to me here," she said attempting to let out a small laugh. She did not want to seem like a complete dork around this guy.

"Well pleased to meet you Sydney. What class are you hurrying to?" He asked sweetly, seeing her laugh he grinned, ignoring her comment about not this being the first time she had bumped into someone, like he cared really, he did. But for now, he kinda wanted to help her to the classroom and such then he'd go to his class. The warning bell rang, signaling to the kids lingering in the halls to get their asses to class or they'd be in trouble so he glanced down at her, he was taller than her, well, taller than alot of the kids there and waited for her answer, looking her over slightly.

Sydney felt herself begin to blush as he said her name. She did not what it was about him that made him stand out from the many other guys that were in the surrounding area. He was just so cute. It was then that she was placed back in reality as the warning bell signaling she had better make her way to Mr. Porter's english class or else.
"I was actually heading to English, it's right down the hall" she said biting her lip. She felt awkward with him, which was nothing new to Sydney, she just wished it would go away. She knew that she had to be going to class soon, even though she wished she could stay and chat for a bit, he seemed really sweet. She argued with herself of the consequences of staying longer with him. She knew if she was late, Porter would give her a detention, and that was one thing that was not on her agenda.

"How about I walk you there? I have that class too" He said with a grin, offering his arm and heard another bell ring, if he got late he didn't care, he was helping someone to class. His grin widened when she blushed and silently noted that she was very adorable when she did so, he hoped that they could maybe sit together in class but that was unlikely since Mr. Porter was so strict with everything it made sitting together almost impossible.

Sydney smiled when Anthony offered to walk her to class. It was really a sweet gesture from him, and she could not bare to pass it up. "I would like that," she said feeling herself blush a little more. She actually felt a little embarrassed of herself. She just could not figure out why this guy seemed so perfect?
"We should probably get to class than, I so don't want a detention," she said rolling her eyes. Back home, detentions were something she got once in a while, and she absolutely hated them. They were never ever like the kind of detention you would see in a movie, they were just hours of boredom.
Being in English class was usually boring, but something about this little encounter was going to change that. At lest Sydney hoped so, if they had a class together that meant they could talk some more, and not have to worry about dozing off during one of Mr. Porter's long, tedious lectures about the art of literature.

Anthony laughed at her rolling her blue eyes and slung his arm around her shoulder and started to walk, he said, "Yeah, I'm so pumped to go sit in Mr. Porter's class!" He added sarcasm with a roll of his eyes as the walk seemed forever until they got to the door, one minute till class. Anthony removed his arm from Sydney's shoulder and opened the door, taking a little bow he said, "After m'lady"
"All those gentlemen classes mom sent me to... just might pay off. MAYBE." He thought silently in his head as he flashed a grin at Sydney.

Sydney could not help but smile when he placed his arm around her shoulder. It just felt incredibly natural and right, something she was not used to. "Oh totally," she said letting out a small giggle. He was funny, and she was finding that helpful in not being super shy walking with him to class.
She was pretty glad that her English class was only down the hall, and she would not have to worry about being all that late. "Why thank you," Sydney said as she walked into the classroom ahead of him. It was nice to have met someone like Anthony, he seemed like a true gentleman, and not like many of the jerks she had met back in New York.
The class had yet to begin, and she was surprised to see that Mr. Porter had yet to arrive, he was always on time, actually he always seemed to be there before anyone else. "Wanna sit together?" she said managing to give Anthony a smile while looking in his direction. She was glad that Mr. Porter had yet to arrive, it meant that once he got there, he would definatley not be able to change anyone's seat, considering he was already late.
